Onlookers muse our principles to emulate our way.
Fore they too know there is no sisterhood like A.K.A
For years they’ve tried to tarnish something pure and wreck our name.
But the ivy leaf thrives in darkness, we will not wither away.
There lives a quiet strength in us, a power forged with love.
A legacy to please our founding Sisters up above.
A history that’s rich and that has stood the test of time.
A kinship no one ever can replace and cant outshine.
As sisters we don’t have to look alike, or think the same.
And, thus, we do augment our sisterhood in many ways.
We work toward the greater good together hand in hand.
To share our purpose in a way the world can understand.
We rise above adversity, we rise above cliché .
As sisters we all know the truth, one we don’t have to say.
We know there is distinction in the letters that we wear.
We know there is resilience in the loving bond we share.
What’s beautiful about a Sister isn’t in appearance.
It’s hard work, dedication, sincere acts, and perseverance.
One helps a Sister, though they may not even know her name.
We love and serve each other without question or delay.
Selfless and determined with a will that makes us strong.
Vivacity, Intelligence… I could go on and on.
One cannot fully illustrate this sisterhood with words.
This poem is just a fraction of the praise that it deserves.
As Sisters we are linked across the world, across this nation.
Relating to fulfill a deal of pristine aspirations.
We’ve vowed to always serve mankind, a cause that’s more than worth it.
Which deepened one experience, one sisterhood, one purpose.
